As the end of the year approaches, we like to reflect on who we’ve been able to help this past year and how grateful we are to have such fantastic patients. And on this vein, we are so incredibly honored to share that we have been awarded “Best Kids Dentist” by NJ Family Magazine, as well as “Best Dentist” by Suburban Essex Magazine–winning both of these awards was only possible because our patients nominated and voted for us.
NJ Family Magazine’s Best Kids Dentist Award is chosen by parents who nominate and vote for their favorite pediatric health care providers. These awards serve as a parent-to-parent referral and that trust means the world to us. We’re well aware that taking your child to the dentist can be a stressful experience for both of you, so it means a lot to us that parents felt that we were deserving of the “Best Kids Dentist” award.
We practice a “Tell, Show, Do” policy to help kids get involved in the treatment process and reduce anxiety. By making each child we treat an active participant in their own oral health care, we enhance kids’ self-esteem and confidence. We also realize that going to the dentist isn’t typically fun for kids so we try to make it more fun for them by providing access to streaming music and videos at each chair, allowing them to earn toys from the Treasure Chest, and get gift cards for contests we run.
If you’re not familiar with NJ Family Magazine, it’s a great resource for moms and dads in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Middlesex, Mercer, Morris, Passaic, Somerset, and Union counties. Their five zoned editions come out each month and cover things to do in NJ, calendar events, trends, and the universal concerns of NJ parents including health, education, kid’s programs, parenting issues, camps, and more. NJ Family Magazine has received honors and awards from the Parenting Media Association, the National Federation of Press Women, Graphic Design USA, Social Media Examiner, and the NJ Social Media Hall of Fame.
Suburban Essex Magazine awarded their “Best Dentist Award” in their Best of Essex Awards. Surburban Essex Magazine is a resource for all things local to the suburban Essex area including upcoming events, trends, and local business profiles. They also have a local gift guide which comes in especially handy during the holiday season. They host the Best of Essex Awards like a ‘reader’s choice awards’ so the winners are determined by the number of votes they receive from readers in the local area. This is the 5th year in a row we’ve been honored in the Best Dentist – Group Practice category of the Best of Essex Awards. For over 30 years we have taken each day as an opportunity to have a lasting and positive impact on those that place their trust in our hands and it means so much to us that they have voted for us yet again.
